Wedding

“The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.”
– Catechism of the Catholic Church §1601

The joining together of a man and a woman in the sacrament of matrimony is a beautiful testament of the bonds of love and fidelity. Therefore, it is important for engaged couples to make every effort to prepare themselves both for the wedding and their married lives together.

Campus Ministry does not offer any formal marriage preparation classes. Couples wishing to marry in the Mystical Rose Oratory (campus chapel), will need to make arrangements with their pastor or parish administration to receive formal marriage preparation classes. Once marriage preparation classes have begun and you have a date in mind you may submit a reservation form along with the suggested donation.
