To be honest, it was only after I attended Awakening Retreat #37, Pieces of His Puzzle, in October 2017, that I felt like I had a connection to God during my college years. The spiritual experience was magnificent, friendships and relationships were strengthened, and my heart was healed. If you’re called to make a change in your life, answer the call…your soul is worth it.”
Campus Ministry was a core pillar in my undergrad experience. I would not have been the student I was in every aspect whether it was learning in the classroom or being called to serve on the margins, where I learned the most. Growing in faith and having faced adversity with resiliency throughout my college years at Chaminade would not have been made possible without the support of my peers and mentors in Campus Ministry. Its a community and a family you take with you for the rest of your life. #AR35 #SteadfastInTheStorm
Campus Ministry means the world to me because they are my Ohana that will always be there for me in the toughest and best times. I have made life-lasting relationships being involved in ministry. Campus Ministry keeps me grounded and walks me through my faith journey, wherever that takes me. They will be there and I couldn’t ask for anything more. Campus Ministry will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Campus Ministry helped me find my purpose and gave me the opportunity to go on LA Immersion, which has been one of the best experiences of my life. Through that experience I thought I was helping those in most need but the outcome was the the exact opposite and I myself received the most help and healing that I most desperately needed.
