Campus Ministry will be offering four (4) students the opportunity to travel to Chuuk, learn about the Chuukese culture, local customs, and the CCPI students’ hopes and challenges for the future.
What Will We Do?
Students will spend six (6) weeks tutoring at the Caroline College and Pastoral Institute (CCPI), located in Chuuk, one of four states of the Federated States of Micronesia. CCPI is an outreach college of Chaminade University that was opened on September 6, 2010. We will serve this population of students by sharing our gifts and talents with with CCPI.
When is the Immersion
TBD. An announcement of the date will be made during the semester.
How Can I Get Involved?
The immersion experience is limited to undergraduate students.
What Is The Cost?
Each student who is selected will be asked to contribute $300 towards the cost of the immersion. This will help us defray travel, lodging and other expenses of the program.
