On May 23, Bro. Allen Pacquing made his first profession of vows as a Marianist Brother in the Society of Mary. Bro. Allen is a native of Hawaii and a graduate of Saint Louis School. He is the third Marianist from the island state to profess religious vows as a Brother in the Society of Mary in the last ten years.
Some of the Campus Ministers attended the hour-long Eucharist and witnessed the rite of profession. The Eucharist celebration included Hawaiian chants and the splendor of floral lei. Fr. George Cerniglia, S.M., Maimoa Fineisaloi, Bro. Brandon Alana, S.M., Bro. Mark Motz, S.M., and student minister Martin Moore were in attendance.
Bro. Allen has been assigned to live with the Hale Malia Center Marianist Community with ministry at Chaminade University in Campus Ministry. We are happy to have Bro. Allen join us and believe that our students will find it a joy to work with him.
Welcome Bro. Allen and congratulations!
