Our Marianist Lay Communities (MLC) participated in the Diocese of Honolulu’s “Star Light, Star Bright Christmas Program”. The program, which is part of its office of Prison Ministry provides an annual Christmas program reuniting incarcerated women with their children.
This year, our local MLC’s participated in the program by creating gift baskets for the families, with the help of all those who come to Mass on Sunday at Mystical Rose Oratory. Your gifts of frequent flyer miles, canned goods, toys, clothes, blankets, and more has helped us create several baskets that has brought joy to both the children and their mothers.
