Last Friday, October 18, was the feast day of St. Luke, evangelist and physician. Customarily on this day, hospitals and health facilities around the country hold either a White Mass or hosts hand blessing services for health care professionals.
This year, Campus Ministry hosted a special prayer service to bless and anoint the hands of our nursing students and those interesting in pursing a career in the health industry. With more than 100 students, faculty, staff, and administration in attendance, many found the service very prayerful and the hand blessing a moving experience. Below are a few snapshots from the service.
