Chaminade University began the academic year, invoking the Holy Spirit to guide the efforts of the administration, faculty, staff, and students. Rev. George Cerniglia, S.M., rector and chaplain of the university was both presider and homilist at the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit.
Members of the student body, staff, faculty, and administration served at minister in the hour long liturgy. The sacred gesture (hula) offered during the responsorial Psalm and the Universal Prayer of the faithful offered in a multitude of languages were the highlights of this years liturgy.
