To mark the beginning of the season of Lent, we are signed with ashes on our foreheads as a reminder of the fleeting nature of our humanity. By this simple act of humility, we are reminded to “Turn away from sin, and be faithful to the gospel”.
Bibles & Brews: Entering the Desert

Based on the popular Theology on Tap program, Bibles & Brews invites students to an evening of reflection and study of the upcoming Sunday scriptures while enjoying some sweet, thirst quenching brew and other refreshments. This weeks program will focus on the Lenten journey through the desert.

Many of us may have driven or walked through areas of our city or town and couldn’t help but notice some of our fellow citizens who have no alternative but to hunker down for the night in the cold. Some are equipped with tents while other have to settle with cardboard boxes. This program offers our students an opportunity to experience firsthand what some of these citizens endure, while raising the awareness of homelessness. Lenten Reconciliation Service

A sense of penance pervades throughout the Lenten season. Asking for forgiveness and learning to forgive oneself is the beginning of a healthy relationship with God. All are invited to join us for prayer and an opportunity for individual confessions.
