Mardi Gras
Tuesday, February 12 | 1:30-4:30 p.m. at Hale Malia
Join the Chaminade community for a fun afternoon, filled with music and free malasadas. Come dressed in your festive wear of green, purple, and gold to mark Fat Tuesday.

Ash Wednesday Mass
Wednesday, February 13 | 12:30 & 5:30 p.m. at Mystical Rose Oratory
To mark the beginning of the season of Lent, we are signed with ashes on our foreheads as a reminder of the fleeting nature of our humanity. By this simple act of humility, we are reminded to “Turn away from sin, and be faithful to the gospel”.

Bibles & Brews: Entering the Desert
Thursday, February 14 | 7:30 p.m. at Hale Lokelani, Multi-Purpose Room
Based on the popular Theology on Tap program, Bibles & Brews invites students to an evening of reflection and study of the upcoming Sunday scriptures while enjoying some sweet, thirst quenching brew and other refreshments. This weeks program will focus on the Lenten journey through the desert.

Hunger Banquet
Wednesday, February 20 | 5:30 p.m.
At this interactive event, the place where you sit, and the meal that you eat, are determined by the luck of the draw—just as in real life some of us are born into relative prosperity and others into poverty. Contact Chaminade Campus Ministry for more information and ways to participate.

Cardboard City
Wednesday, February 27 | 8 p.m.
Many of us may have driven or walked through areas of our city or town and couldn’t help but notice some of our fellow citizens who have no alternative but to hunker down for the night in the cold. Some are equipped with tents while other have to settle with cardboard boxes. This program offers our students an opportunity to experience firsthand what some of these citizens endure, while raising the awareness of homelessness. Bibles & Brews: Encounter at the Well
Thursday, February 28 | 7:30 p.m.
This weeks program will focus on the Samaritan woman’s encounter with Jesus at the well.

Lenten Flicks
Wednesday, March 6 | 5:30 p.m.
Movies and documentaries helps us comprehend complex social issues. Being able to forgive can become more challenging when it’s not simply a black or white issue. Lenten Reconciliation Service
Wednesday, March 13 | 5:30 p.m. at Mystical Rose Oratory
A sense of penance pervades throughout the Lenten season. Asking for forgiveness and learning to forgive oneself is the beginning of a healthy relationship with God. All are invited to join us for prayer and an opportunity for individual confessions.

Living Stations of the Cross
Wednesday, March 20 | 5:30 p.m.
Walking with Jesus to Calvary can be a powerful experience, especially when the journey is reflected through the lives and experiences of the modern person. This weeks program will focus on the art of forgiveness as Jesus demonstrates with the woman who was to be stoned to death.
